Questions

Before you enter the space.

Is this therapy?

No. Sessions are for personal reflection, mindfulness, education, spiritual conversation, and self-exploration.

Do I need to know Sanātana Dharma?

No. Curiosity is enough. You do not need prior knowledge of Sanskrit, scripture, or meditation.

Can I book just to discuss spirituality?

Yes. Not every conversation needs to begin with a problem.

Can I share my life situation and ask for the support I feel I need?

Yes. You may bring a life situation, a question, or something you are trying to understand. The conversation can offer reflection and perspective, but it does not replace medical, mental-health, legal, financial, or crisis support.

What if I do not know exactly what to say?

That is completely okay. You can begin with what has been on your mind, what feels unclear, or simply what brought you here.

Will I be told what to believe?

No. The purpose is thoughtful conversation and self-inquiry, not pressure, conversion, or telling you which belief you must follow.

Are sessions private?

Yes, within the website’s stated privacy practices. Protected conversations require authenticated access.

Can I choose text instead of video?

First Step offers text, video, or voice-only. Manana is text-based. Shanti and Antaryātrā are video sessions.

What timezone are appointments shown in?

The schedule uses America/Denver internally and displays appointments in your local timezone automatically.

Can I reschedule?

You may normally reschedule once without charge at least 24 hours in advance.

What if I need an earlier appointment?

Priority Booking may offer Shanti or Antaryātrā within one to three days for an additional $8, subject to availability.

Do I need meditation experience?

No. Any mindfulness or meditation practice introduced will be simple and accessible.

How old do I need to be to book?

You must be at least 16 years old to request a private session.

What if I am in immediate danger or crisis?

This service is not crisis care. Contact local emergency services or an appropriate crisis service in your country for immediate help.
